We offer post production budgeting services to help manage cost effectively throughout the whole project.

We can consult for a limited time, or fully take care of your budget and cost reporting from inception to delivery, and shape workflows to make sure you get the best value for your project.

DIT Services

Shoot Prep: Supporting Camera, Lens, Lighting, and Filtration Choices through test & comparison protocols, evaluating HMU, Costume and Set Design with the DoP, and planning backups as well as the most efficient logistics between set, lab, VFX and editorial together with the Post Supervisor.

Look creation: Guaranteeing that what you see on set follows the creative intention.

On-set image supervision: Direct supervision and adjustment of image parameters to maintain the highest visual quality and consistency throughout filming.

Technical support: As one of the most technical people on your set, a DIT will be able to troubleshoot any camera, video or RF related issues, as well as advise you on a technical solution to meet your creative needs. Meticulous prep of camera gear and monitors is a given.

Visual QC: From dead pixels to unwanted crewmembers and equipment in the frame, quickly ensuring that the footage meets the required standards for post-production and delivery is crucial in today’s digital age.

Dailies Lab

Our comprehensive dailies services include processing and syncing raw footage for quick review. This ensures organized, high-quality material that’s ready for editorial and production teams to access and review efficiently, with logging and transcription services available as needed.

With our dailies grade capabilities, we ensure that any decision regarding the look of the shot will be preserved from the moment it was recorded on set to the final grading suite.

Depending on your project needs, the dailies grade might be as easy as LUT+CDL, or as complicated as the final grade, with qualifiers and moving masks.

Editing & Editorial Support

We offer comfortable, modern, and fully equipped edit suites in the heart of Berlin for your editors to shape and define your content, while our editorial assistants support the editing process. This includes organizing media, managing bins, versions and delivering various playouts.

We also offer editorial sound design, layout VFX and cleanups, which will help the editors stay committed to the creative work, while our assisting editors will handle polishing up the technicalities and turnovers, to ensure the best use of everyone’s time.They streamline workflows, ensuring that editors can focus on creative decisions with all technical aspects efficiently handled. Your story is in good hands.

VFX

While offering VFX Supervision to provide expert consultation on-set and ensuring that the VFX artists will receive the best possible footage and all the necessary metadata to perform their work in the most efficient way, we also offer compositing, VFX conforming, QC and VFX budgeting.

Ranging from removing unwanted elements from the picture, to set extensions and enhancing visualsl, our in-house team is able to deliver quick, flexible solutions at any stage of production, whether as layout templates or final shots.

For more complex shots, we work with a great network of freelance VFX artists and other professional VFX vendors to ensure the best outcomes for your projects.

Conforming

We provide professional conforming services to ensure your project aligns with the final edit. Our team will make sure all media, cuts, retimes and effects align to the offline reference, ensuring an accurate starting point for color grading and VFX work.

Color Grading

Our Grading Suite is capable of handling HDR UHD workflows and our network of freelancer colorists will bring your images to life.

Our Color Grading suite is also available for dry hire. It is equipped with a Flanders Scientific XMP310 mastering display, a DaVinci Resolve Mini Panel, and a MacPro workstation connected to 50Gbps network infrastructure and equipped with 50TB of dedicated solid state storage.

Subtitling

We can subtitle to various broadcast, cinema and streaming specifications, with in-house staff able to handle multiple European languages, while a robust network of freelance partners covers any languages we don’t.

Should you be working with an international partner during the edit of your project, we can offer cost-effective solutions for editorial review subtitling, with lots of practice in efficient versioning.

Mastering & QC

We offer professional picture, sound and subtitles mastering for broadcast, streaming, and cinema releases. File-based workflows for Home Theatre and Broadcast releases, Dolby E audio remastering for German and French state broadcasters, BagIt Archival deliveries for the US and German Federal Archives, as well as fully compliant IMF and DCP mastering for more complex delivery chains can all be provided for.

We offer thorough QC (Quality Control) services to ensure your content meets industry standards. Our team carefully reviews for technical accuracy, visual consistency, and adherence to specifications, ensuring flawless delivery across all platforms and formats, and always placing the human QC engineer first, with automated detection only used as an add-on.

Storage & Archival

We integrate the industry-standard LTO tape backup both during the shooting stage of a project and in final delivery, to safely store the contents of all the original camera media as well as the editorial assets, project files and masters. All the valuable data is securely archived and easily retrievable for future use. This is a crucial step in the 3-2-1 backup strategy.

Equipment Rental

DIT carts, monitors, computers, LUT boxes, video transmission systems, and portable power solutions are available. Scalable from a DIT-set in a small Peli Case to a full blown near-set lab in a van.
